PiYo Testimonials

I have attended PIYO with Carrie for 3 1/2 years, and I still look forward to class!!! When I first started attending PIYO, I had been excercising at the gym for 2 years and was not achieving the weight loss results that I had hoped for. It was tough at first, but I quickly began to notice changes in my body. The core conditioning and strength training truely works the entire body! I am amazed at how much stronger I am, how much more energy I have, and my balance is unbelievable! This is also the one and only place I can go to clear my head. It is a good workout that is non-stressful – where else can you get that combination! I am happy to say that after 3 1/2 years of PIYO, I am 30 pounds lighter and have gone from a size 14 to a size 6! I turned 50 this year and my family tells me I look like I did in high school – what a great birthday present! Thank you Carrie for introducing me to PIYO and providing an organized, enjoyable, and worthwhile excercise class!

“Piyo is a great part of my week. It is my favorite way to exercise because it incorporates everything that I need. Exercise that is relaxing achieves multiple purposes and I find it to be theraputic. But, my favorite part of Piyo is the instructor. It is obvious that Carrie plans for her classes and varies the routines. Piyo is a significant part of my exercise regimen.” Ali

“Ahhhh – the joys of PIYO!  What a wonderful treat you can give yourself!   I am amazed at the total body strength, flexibility and balance I have personally achieved taking just two classes a week.  The exercises and routines really help me focus on my whole body – I have developed stronger wrists, a stronger lower back, my balance is a 100% better than when I started (!!) : ) and I feel my posture is better.  I personally believe that Piyo would be beneficial to persons of all ages.  I am happy that I have chosen to make time in my schedule to take this class!! ”  Bernadette

“Carrie’s class is fantastic! I’ve taken Pilates/yoga classes in the past and some of those classes didn’t mix the two very well; it specifically felt like we were just doing one or the other. In contrast, Carrie’s class flows seamlessly, integrating the core specifics of Pilates with the natural grace of the yoga tradition.  I also appreciate the meditation time at the end. A lot of yoga classes ignore this part, but I feel the Corpse pose is crucial for an effective session. I attend every Wednesday, and after her class, the rest of the week is all downhill from there!” Robert
