Pose of the Month-Legs up the wall

This isn’t a pose we do in class but its one of my favorites.  Anytime I have trouble sleeping I get up and do this pose.  It really does help with insomnia at the same time gently stretching your legs. 

Benefits of Legs up the wall

  • Relieves tired or cramped legs and feet
  • Gently stretches the back legs, front torso, and the back of the neck
  • Relieves mild backache
  • Calms the mind
