Why I Love PiYo Live

“I have attended PIYO with Carrie for 3 1/2 years, and I still look forward to class!!! When I first started attending PIYO, I had been excercising at the gym for 2 years and was not achieving the weight loss results that I had hoped for. It was tough at first, but I quickly began to notice changes in my body. The core conditioning and strength training truely works the entire body! I am amazed at how much stronger I am, how much more energy I have, and my balance is unbelievable! This is also the one and only place I can go to clear my head. It is a good workout that is non-stressful – where else can you get that combination! I am happy to say that after 3 1/2 years of PIYO, I am 30 pounds lighter and have gone from a size 14 to a size 6! I turned 50 this year and my family tells me I look like I did in high school – what a great birthday present! Thank you Carrie for introducing me to PIYO and providing an organized, enjoyable, and worthwhile excercise class!”

“Having a great instructor is the  basis as to why I love PiYo. It is what keeps me coming back week after week.  It is an easy class to feel comfortable in, no pressures, the flexibility to go at your own pace. I know I have become physically stronger due to PiYo and my balance is improving all the time. This is a class I would encourage anyone who is looking for something to help with toning & strength.  Carrie – thanks for keeping it FUN and “a piece of cake “”

I went to my first PiYo class just over a year ago. I had been attending classes at the gym and found a comfort there as opposed to dvds at home. A friend talked me into going with her and I instantly fell in love with PiYo. The next day and even now, I find myself more sore after PiYo than any other classes including Insanity. PiYo forces me to stretch muscles I didn’t know I had and move in ways I never thought possible. I started out much heavier and had to modify many of the moves and found that PiYo created a safe space for me to do that. The class truly is for anyone who is looking to take care of their body by strengthening and stretching. It’s hard to explain to people what PiYo is until you come to a class and see for yourself. I especially love PiYo because of the class with this particular instructor and the girls I am getting to know who come on a regular basis. Carrie takes the time to break down the moves, show modifications, and make sure everyone feels comfortable about what we’re doing. I am currently 33 weeks pregnant and have continued to attend PiYo. I modify most everything and do what I can. I know without a doubt it’s because of these kinds of classes why I have no aches or pains and am feeling amazing in my pregnancy. I plan to keep going to PiYo until baby girl comes and then can’t wait to be cleared to go back and do some of the moves they are doing right now like the sweep through and flip over!” – Stacie

“I recently tried PiYo and am in LOVE. PiYo combines the beauty of Yoga and it’s strength and stretching with the low impact challenges of strength training and toning of Pilates and somehow in there – we get a pretty good cardio workout! It is all I love about fitness rolled into one powerful and FUN hour. I walk away knowing I got a great workout and because we do so much stretching mixed in I have no joint/tendon pain afterwards. I only hurt in the RIGHT places. Plus – Carrie makes it a blast. I hope you can join us some time!” –Stephanie

“Ahhhh – the joys of PIYO!  What a wonderful treat you can give yourself!   I am amazed at the total body strength, flexibility and balance I have personally achieved taking just two classes a week.  The exercises and routines really help me focus on my whole body – I have developed stronger wrists, a stronger lower back, my balance is a 100% better than when I started (!!) : ) and I feel my posture is better.  I personally believe that Piyo would be beneficial to persons of all ages.  I am happy that I have chosen to make time in my schedule to take this class!! ”  Bernadette

  1. PiYo!!! What a great class! I wasn’t sure what it was but a friend encouraged me to attend & I was hooked. I leave class feeling invigorated and relaxed. It increases not only muscle strength but flexibility, agility and development of core muscles. The class is for anyone wanting to stay fit through strength training and stretching. I enjoy the class because of the instructor–she goes over each move and shows modifications. She keeps the class fresh by changing the routine often. She is personable and shows concern for each one of her participants. Sandy
